Founder Spotlight: The Vision Behind Starr Enterprise – A Conversation with Mike Browens

Mike Browens, Founder and CEO of Starr Enterprise

ATLANTA, GA — January 2026 — In a landscape crowded with business coaches and digital agencies, Mike Browens is building something different. He isn't just consulting; he is architecting the future of small business in Atlanta.

As the Founder and CEO of Starr Enterprise, Browens has made headlines recently for his radical "48-Hour Launch Protocol" and his commitment to structured, scalable entrepreneurship. But behind the tactical precision lies a deeply personal mission of legacy, resilience, and inclusivity.

We sat down with Browens to discuss the origin of the "Starr" name, why most founders fail, and his bold vision for 2026.

Q: Let's start with the name. Why "Starr Enterprise"?

Mike Browens: It's personal. Starr was my late husband's middle name. When I lost him, I realized that time is the only asset we can't get back. I wanted to build something that wasn't just about revenue, but about legacy—something resilient that honors him. Every time I see the name on the door, it reminds me that we are building for the future, not just for the next quarter.

Q: You talk a lot about "Business Architecture" rather than just consulting. What's the difference?

MB: Consulting is often just advice. Architecture is building. Most entrepreneurs I meet don't need more advice; they need a machine. They have the passion, but they lack the structure. At Starr Enterprise, we act as the architects. We pour the foundation—the legal entity, the tax structure, the digital footprint—so the founder can focus on what they actually love doing. You can't build a skyscraper on a swamp. We fix the foundation first.

Q: You've recently launched the "48-Hour Founder" podcast and protocol. Why the obsession with speed?

MB: Because hesitation kills dreams. I see brilliant people sit on an idea for two years because they are scared of the paperwork. That's tragic. My philosophy is: Give me 48 hours. Let us handle the boring stuff—the LLC, the EIN, the tech stack. By Friday, you aren't just thinking about a business; you are a business. Speed creates momentum, and momentum creates success.

Q: As an LGBTQ+ founder in the South, how does your identity shape the way you lead?

MB: It shapes everything. It taught me resilience early on. But more than that, it taught me the power of "unconditional support." I push my team and my clients hard—I hold them to a standard of excellence—because I believe in them. I want to create a space where diverse founders feel seen, supported, and equipped with the same corporate-grade tools that the big guys have. We are democratizing access to business ownership.

Q: What is the biggest mistake you see small business owners making right now?

MB: Trying to be the CEO and the CMO and the Janitor. You cannot scale if you are doing everything. That's why we launched our Fractional Marketing Solutions. We come in and say, "Fire yourself from the marketing department. Let us handle the strategy and execution for less than the cost of a part-time hire." It frees the founder to actually lead.

Q: What is the future of Starr Enterprise?

MB: We are building an ecosystem. From AMT Solutions handling tech support to SHIC Coffee creating community spaces, we are touching every part of the entrepreneur's life. The goal for 2026 is simple: To be the launchpad for the next generation of Atlanta's titans. We aren't just helping people start businesses; we're helping them build legacies.
